For endless unspoiled sand and surf, head for this oceanfront KOA on the Outer Banks. It’s just a few steps from your campsite over the dunes and right to the Atlantic. Walk the beach for miles, hunting for shells, casting for bluefish and scouring the surface for dolphins that often cavort on by. Or head across this sliver of an island it’s just a quarter-mile wide, to Pamlico Sound, where windsurfers and kiteboarders scoot off toward the horizon.

There's also a full roster of summer activities at the campground - everything from pool games to basketball tournaments, craft activities like bead jewelry making, live skits and live music provided by the Summershiners. Finish with a dip in either of two pools and grab a bite at the poolside snack bar.

Enjoy a family-oriented film under the stars at our Outdoor Cinema. Grab your sleeping bag and some change and hit the snack bar for freshly-popped popcorn. The KOA Express chugs through camp daily, with your conductor pointing out campground highlights and local attractions. Fun here is as limitless as the sand.
